I think I am allergic...

>after getting the new set, my own nails began to lift from the nail bed.
>The surrounding of her nails turn red and puffy.
>my fingers are red and very itchy after I had my last fill-in

Chances are you are having an allergic reaction, you need to get those acrylics or gels off ASAP. Please return to the technician, request the enhancement be clipped short and GENTLY filed off. Once allergic to acrylic or gels, you will always be allergic. You can however continue to have nice nails! I would not recommend removal by soaking in any type of chemicals. Mechanical removal (ripping/biting) is never recommended under any circumstances.

You can switch to a wrap or dip system, or gels. Gels by nature is a partially cured acrylic in a gel like state, so if you had a problem with acrylics, you will most likely have a reaction to gels also. I would only suggest Creative Nail Design brand of gels called Brisa. It is formulated to have less of an allergen factor than other gels. Many companies have wrap and or Dip systems including Backscratchers and OPI.

If you nails have lifted from the beds, chances are they will reattach as they grow back out normally. I would also suggest you keep them free of enhancement products until they have returned to their healthy state. Keep polish on them during this time, to protect, also keep them short to avoid further damage. Avoid frequent polish changes, keep all exposure to any chemicals including cleaning solutions to a minimum, wear gloves while cleaning.
