Q. My husband is “balding” and
believes there’s nothing wrong with using bar soap on his head. (He’s a
little lazy, too). This can’t be good for his hair, is it?
A. You’re exactly right. By using
bar soap, your husband is hastening the process of going bald. Bar soap is full
of “fat”, and these fat molecules can “plug” the pores where the hair
exit’s the scalp. This, over time, prevents healthy hair from being able to
grow…thus, leaving more of his scalp hairless. But we have heard that “solar
powered” men are better.
